Merle Singer

Merle Singer has 25 years of senior leadership roles across multi-disciplines. Her experience spans corporate marketing, leadership development, culture & reputation, corporate social responsibility and global environmental sustainability. She holds a BA Honours and Masters in Psychology as well as being a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Merle is accredited in Myers Briggs Type Inventory, Hogan Assessment Inventories and Barrett’s Cultural Transformation Tools. In her own business, which she has run for almost 10 years, her mantra is “Interrupt the Usual” which she does by bringing to her work a unique blend of corporate knowledge and experience combined with a passion about people, culture and potential and the stories which colour us. Archetypes and their importance in shaping our stories - individually and collectively is at the heart of what she does.

She is currently completing a Research Project through Deakin University’s Business School documenting and codifying the intergenerational leadership challenges for senior and millennial women in a volatile and disrupted world.

Dr Heather Round

Dr Heather Round

PhD, MBA, Grad Cert in University Teaching

Heather Round worked in the corporate sector for over 25 years before embarking on a journey in academia. During her corporate career she worked across a number of industries, in various global locations including the UK, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa where she led project teams and ran organizational change programs.

She is a fellow of the Institute of Managers and Leaders (FIML), an accredited Project Management Professional (PMP) holds an MBA and completed a doctorate through Melbourne University in creativity in 2014. She is a senior lecturer at the Deakin Business School where she teaches innovation, creativity and management as well as running an entrepreneurship program for business leaders.

Heather is accredited in the Entrepreneurial Mindset Profile and utilizes this in her consulting practice as a starting point for building skills in entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, innovation and creativity. Heather is passionate about creativity and believes that in order to facilitate the development of purpose and meaning in a disrupted world we need to reconnect with our creative selves.
