Birthing a project that has been in the shade

So on the eve of the project seeing the light of day… first in a series of presentations in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney and then I guess to more academic pursuits and the creation of an academic article, I am struck by how both exhilarated and tentative I feel… all rolled up in an anxious wait before the results are shared with participants and many interested people. I want people to see the beauty of what these women shared, the gentle vulnerabilities and exposures, the deep wisdoms and profound understandings. I want so much to shine a golden light on what I think is interesting and worthwhile… I will have to wait to see how it is received.
